Tiernan Field House Fitness Assessments

The Tiernan Field House Faculty and Staff Fitness and Wellness Program offers faculty and staff the opportunity to complete baseline fitness assessments every first Tuesday of the month from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
Since January is well underway with many fitness, health, and wellness resolutions, we are offering two group sessions next week. Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14, 2015, 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is requested.
The goal of the fitness assessment is to help you have a better understanding of your current fitness level to help you start a fitness program and set SMART goals to be successful.
The fitness assessments are made up of four components: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular fitness (muscular strength and muscular endurance), and flexibility.
The fitness assessment takes approximately thirty to forty-five minutes. We do ask for interested individuals to sign up for session in advance.
