Suicide Prevention Training for Staff
Posted: January 29, 2018
As a part of our JED Campus Program, we are engaging in many initiatives around mental health and suicide prevention. This is one of the resources available to staff. QPR (Question. Persuade. Refer.) is a course that educates participants on how they can get help for themselves, learn more about preventing suicide, common causes of suicidal behavior, warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for someone in crisis. This is an online training that takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. In person trainings are forthcoming.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the program further, please join us for informational sessions on 2/1, 3/1, and 4/5 from 12-1pm in TFH room 109.
To enroll in QPR, create an account;
