Spend a Day in Our Shoes (SADIOS)
Posted: April 14, 2013
Greetings from the Office of Admission!
Monday, April 15, is Spend a Day in Our Shoes, our program for admitted students. The day is designed to help students learn about the varied academic and extracurricular opportunities available at Scripps. We are expecting well over 500 people, including admitted students and their families.
The program on Monday will begin at 9:00 a.m. in front of Garrison Theater and will conclude with Afternoon Tea on Jaqua Quad, adjacent to the Denison Library. Throughout the day, students will tour campus, attend academic information sessions, sit in on classes and visit with student service offices. Also, 110 prospective students will be spending Sunday night sleeping in the recreation and living rooms of several of the residence halls.
As a result of the volume of students spending the night on Sunday, we expect dinner in Malott will be more crowded – thank you, in advance, for your patience. In addition, there may be prospective students in Monday classes. Finally, you will probably see more cars around campus Sunday and Monday.
On Sunday and Monday, feel free to say ‘hello’ to prospective students and their families. Your stories and experiences are the most authentic way we can share the real Scripps with your future classmates. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to stop by Balch 100.
