Niel Errickson’s new endeavor

Posted: December 4, 2014

Dear Scripps College Community:

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of Niel Errickson from Scripps College on December 17, 2014. Niel will be greatly missed. We are excited for Niel and the opportunities that await him as he embarks on his next endeavor as a Director of a retirement center. I know that he is excited about his new 10 minute commute! Niel first began working with the College in 1995. Over the course of almost 20 years at Scripps, Niel has been an integral part of many exciting construction projects such as the Malott Commons, the Tiernan Field House, and the Miller Wing expansion.

Niel has stated on numerous occasions that those throughout the Scripps community have always embraced him and made him feel like he was not just a vendor, but a contributing member of the Scripps community. Yes, indeed, he is a contributing member of the Scripps community! We have all benefited from his wit, wisdom, guidance, and expertise. We wish him every success on his career paths.

Scripps will be hosting a farewell gathering in his honor. We hope you will all come out and say goodbye to a valued member of the Scripps community. The gathering will be held on December 15 from 4-5 pm at Sycamore Court.

Sincerely,

Donna Ng
Vice President for Business Affairs/Treasurer
