The Scripps College community is invited to attend the Interfaith Baccalaureate Ceremony of The Claremont Colleges honoring the Class of 2013.
The opening ceremony for graduation weekend, Baccalaureate is a celebration for all of the graduates of The Claremont Colleges and their families and friends. It is a unique tradition in higher education that reflects upon one’s time of study and looks forward to the world that the graduates will enter. The ceremony includes student reflections, musical selections from the Baccalaureate Choir of the Joint Music program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer and Scripps Colleges, and keynote speaker Halim Dhanidina (PO ’94), the first Muslim-American to be appointed to the Superior Court in California (2012).
If you are unable to attend, the service will be streamed. For more information, please contact the Office of the Chaplains at (909) 621-8685.
