Scripps Information Technology is seeking 9 students to be DORM COMPUTER CONSULTANTS (one per residence hall) For the 2016-2017 school year.
Duties: include checking the dorm computer room several times each day, as your schedule permits, to keep it supplied and to ensure that the computers and printers are operational at all times; general troubleshooting with IT staff guidance, keeping the room neat and organized; helping IT staff during Orientation; and carrying out instructions of the IT staff from time to time.
Requirements of This Position:
YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE HALL where you are applying as consultant, where you will be living in the 2016-2017 school year, for the entire year. You must also be able to return to campus and attend a training on AUGUST 29 and ideally return the prior week to provide assistance during all of Orientation.
Orientation details: Early move in is Monday, Aug 22 2016, training: Aug 23 & 24, Orientation: Aug 25 & 26
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED All you need is an hour throughout the weekday and a desire to be part of the IT team. You need not have prior computer experience, although some basic knowledge of computers and troubleshooting skills are helpful. We will train.
