To be authorized to drive vehicles that are owned or otherwise operated by the College, employees must meet all of the following criteria:
- Possess a current/valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Have had no more than three moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last three years.
- Have had no citations for reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the past three years.
- If you are under 21 years of age, you cannot have a combined total of more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
Employees must also complete and submit a form that allows the College to review their DMV record. If an employee’s record documents that they meet the criteria stated above, they will be placed on the Authorized Drivers List. Please see the Budget Office to obtain a form.
