During the course of your employment, you are free to leave Scripps College at any time for any reason, and Scripps College reserves a similar right. Thus, both you and Scripps College will have the right to terminate your employment at any time, with or without advance notice and with or without cause. This is called “employment at will,” and no one other than the President of Scripps College has the authority to alter this arrangement, or enter into an agreement contrary to this policy. Furthermore, any such agreement must be in writing and must be signed by the President of Scripps College. Nothing in this handbook limits or modifies this at-will employment relationship.
