The College partners with Bright Horizons® to offer employees up to 40 hours of back-up care per calendar year for times when they need to be at work and their regular care arrangements for children or adult/elder relatives is unavailable. Employees may use this benefit for an individual for whom they are the primary caregiver, including children, spouse or domestic partner, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. It also includes those persons in a “step” relationship.
This benefit is not transferable nor can employees gift their hours to another employee. The College covers the majority of the costs. Employees are billed a co-pay: $2 co-pay / hour per child for center-based care or $4 co-pay / hour for home care (rate applies for up to three dependents).
