Outcomes describe specific knowledge, abilities, values, and attitudes students should demonstrate.

  • Contribute to institution’s sustainability efforts.
  • Facility – were students learning (healthy behavior around fitness) via messaging based on non-verbal communication (sublime message – materials)
  • Meet consortia expectation by hosting social (non-fitness) events.
  • Increase facility usage by exposure of social event attendance for fitness purposes.
  • Students will:
    • Demonstrate knowledge of principles and training methods (e.g. cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, endurance).
    • Be able to articulate the interrelationship between physical health and wellness and how to accomplish goals.
    • Be able to identify the elements necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
    • Recognizes and exhibits self appreciation.
    • Be able to conduct self-assessments.
    • Provide program feedback.
    • Be able to articulate the interrelationship between physical health and wellness and how to accomplish goals.
    • Be certified in CPR, First AID in AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator), Life Guard Certification, and Water Safety and Instruction.
    • Successfully pass the practicum training by term.
    • Be certified to prepare and train patrons on fitness regimes and nutrition plans.
    • Utilize bike shop to rent bikes for various usages.
    • Be able to repair and maintain their rented bikes.
