What SARLO Offers »

Getting Involved

Involvement in campus life is an essential part of a comprehensive education. At Scripps, students share their talents and discover new interests by participating in extracurricular clubs and organizations. Whether students want to do something they love, learn something new, or passionately support a favorite cause, they will find an abundance of Scripps and five-college groups which offer opportunities for personal growth, friendship, and just plain fun.

New Student Program

The New Student Program exists to help first-years acclimate to life at Scripps. It includes Orientation, Peer Mentor groups, and a wide variety of on and off campus activities such as Target runs, Self-Defense Training, and trips to Disneyland and musicals like Avenue Q and Wicked.

Student Clubs and Organizations

Scripps students share their talents and interests by participating in co-curricular and co-educational clubs and organizations (CLORGs). Whether it’s doing something they love, learning something new, or supporting a favorite cause, Scripps student clubs offer an abundance of opportunities for personal growth, friendship, and just plain fun.
