The Princeton Review praises Scripps College for its exceptional commitment to sustainability and for its track record as an environmentally responsible “green” college. Scripps makes the list in this year’s edition of The Princeton Review Guide to 353 Green Colleges with a “green rating” of 83 out of a possible 99. The designation is especially noteworthy, given that more than 60 percent of U.S. college applicants say environmental issues play a significant role in their ultimate college selection.
