Introducing the HEDS Survey on Campus Climate
Posted: February 13, 2018
Dear Scripps Students,
Along with the other Claremont Colleges, Scripps is participating in the HEDS Survey on Campus Climate for Sexual Assault. The survey is being sent to all Scripps students who were enrolled during the 2017-18 academic year. If you are a December graduate, withdrawn, on leave, or studying abroad, it is important we hear from you as well. You will receive an email from Dean Johnson with a link to the survey on February 21. Please look for her email and know that your participation is valued.
We hope every Scripps student participates in this important survey, regardless of whether or not they have experienced unwanted sexual contact, sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking, or sexual harassment.
The survey is anonymous. Information provided in the survey will not be investigated or reported to law enforcement. Survey results are used only to improve policies, practices, and the support we offer students at Scripps. If you would like someone at Scripps to follow up with you about a specific incident, please contact Sally Steffen, Scripps’s Title IX Coordinator.
If you have any questions about the survey or its administration, please contact Junelyn Peeples, director of Assessment and Institutional Research.
