The South Coast Air Quality Management District (Rule 2202) requires employers in the south coast basin to conduct an annual survey of all faculty, staff, and students who arrive to work between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Monday thru Friday.  The survey is designed to collect information about how our employees commute to work during a typical workweek.  The data gathered from the surveys will be used to calculate our current Average Vehicle Ridership (AVR).   This year, we have selected the week of April 4, 2016 as our survey week.

The survey links will also be available on the Intranet. Please stop by the Human Resources Office for your rideshare survey gift!

PLEASE NOTE: For those employees who wish to be eligible for Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) credit, the definition of a ZEV is as follows:  Any vehicle that can travel the entire commute distance to work exclusively under electric power.  Vehicles with Hybrid Electric Engines (ie. Chevy Volt, Prius, etc…) are eligible as long as the distance to work does not exceed the specific car’s “electric distance capability”.  These “capabilities” vary depending on the vehicle manufacturer.  Please refer to the specific manufacturer for details on the electric distance capability of a vehicle (ie. Chevy Volt = 33 miles; Prius = 1 mile).  CNG vehicles do not qualify as Zero Emission Vehicles.

*Per California Penal Code section 637.6, this information will only be used for ridesharing purposes.  Home addresses are never disclosed.
