First Year Students: Your Official Scripps Account Credentials (network and email) was sent to you on June 1, 2017. If you did not receive your these credentials on this date, please email IT.
Your network password allows you access to WiFi, Portal, Sakai, Box and other Scripps College resources. Your email password is only to access your Scripps College Outlook account through Outlook Web Access or Outlook client.
**Please note: If you have a ChromeBook, we will not be able to install Scripps resources on it. You will only be able to connect to wireless.
Users will need to have the latest update of their operating system installed on their computer. For example, if you have Windows 7, the latest version is Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). If you have a Mac running El Capitan, the latest version this operating system is El Capitan 10.11.5.

**Please note: MacOS High Sierra is due to be released this Fall. Please do not update your Mac to High Sierra. IT needs to test if Scripps resources will work with the new OS before we can recommend upgrading. Thank you.**
You have access to Box@Scripps unlimited cloud storage with your Scripps College account. For instructions on how to install Box Drive, please click here.

Scripps College uses Office 365 hosted e-mail, which you may also hear referred to as Outlook. To access the web version of your Scripps e-mail, go to the following link in your favorite web browser and set a bookmark:
Remember that your “username” for logging into e-mail is your full e-mail address (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org).

If you wish, you can also install the Outlook client application on your computer as part of the College’s Office 365 program. For more information on installing and configuring Outlook (or other parts of Microsoft Office) please see our Scripps Office 365 page.
Allows access to our Web based network laser printers. While you can install the print client while off campus, you may need to wait until you are on campus to add the hall and lab printers.

**Note: For Mac users – If, when installing printers, you receive a message that says “Downloading Packages..”, you will need to install the print drivers and then try the installation again. You can download the print drivers here.

Scripps College requires you to have and maintain antivirus software while you are enrolled with us. For students who do not already have antivirus software installed on their computers, Scripps provides Antivirus software free of charge. Download the Security program to your computer and follow the installation prompts.
