Please help make this update successful by taking a few minutes to do the following steps:
|If your computer desktop looks like this, chances are you already save your files on the network.||If your desktop looks like this then these files may be your only copy, you need to move them to your Z or Y drive to back them up.|
When you get a new computer or you are imaged your computer is reformatted and a fresh copy of windows is installed. You then just go to the network folder to find your files that you backed up.
NOTE: Please do not backup iTunes; your personal music should not be stored on our server.
Please tidy up your area before we arrive to work on your system so that we do not disturb your personal items.
See examples below of how your desk should be.
Please tape a business card to the Dell monitor at each station to clearly identify whose station it is.
The IT department may have temp workers helping with the roll out so we would appreciate if you could all tape your business card to the front of your monitor before we arrive to do the work so there is no mistake who is in which office.
