Your Outlook/Office 365 account can be installed on your mobile device using either Microsoft Exchange or Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). The advantage of using MS Exchange is that you need only provide your email address and password for set up, where IMAP requires additional server information. Exchange also provides access to your Outlook calendar and Contacts; IMAP does not.
Please be certain that your OS is up-to-date prior to installation.
Make sure to delete your old Groupwise account from mobile devices
To set up Outlook on a mobile device:
1. Go to http://tinyurl.com/O365-Mobile-Setup for instructions.
You can also access this web page from the OWA Welcome page:
2. Click the link for your device in the column “Add your Office 365 email account (Outlook)”
3. Follow instructions under “Set up email for your work or school account using Outlook.” Specific steps may vary depending upon the device, but basic steps are:
a. Download the application from your app store, Open
b. Swipe through the introduction pages, tap Get Started
c. Select Exchange as the mail account you would like to add (NOT Outlook)
d. Enter your email address, password and description (e.g. Scripps), tap OK or Save
If you need to enter settings manually, they are as follows:
