Student Application Process
Students will be asked to complete the TFH Employment Questionnaire and submit to it to the Tiernan Field House along with a current resume. Upon being selected for an interview, TFH supervisors will conduct and interview and contact you with the results.
Upon being selected for hire, proper documentation must be completed with Human Resources and Financial Aid to be eligible.

The Building Manager operates the Tiernan Field House and is responsible for the supervision of staff, programs and services of the Tiernan Field House during designated hours. Applicants must be familiar with the building, its equipment, policies, programs and services. In addition this position requires an understanding of the mission and philosophy of the field house and its partnerships with the consortium.
Candidates must possess critical thinking and decision making skills, serve as a facilitator of programs and services, supervisor of student staff during designated hours/programs.
Peer Health Educators
The peer health educator will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Health and Wellness in the development, marketing, implementation, evaluation of health and wellness programs; including educational outreach, prevention and intervention strategies.
The Bike Shop Manager will oversee the operations, maintenance and staff of the Green Bike program. The manager is responsible to maintain business operations, hiring, training and scheduling of bike techs. The manager will maintain repair records for all green bikes as well as manage the semester loan program.
The administrative assistant will perform a variety of specialized administrative and office support functions and performs related duties as assigned.
The bicycle technician will help repair and maintain bikes within the Green Bike program. Bike techs will also teach and assist students in the repair of their bike.
Customer Service Associates
The guest services member will provide high quality customer service for all patrons and will serve as the initial point of contact for information sharing, memberships, and guest services.
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons including surveillance, accident prevention and performance of the emergency action plans in the water and adjacent pool areas.
TFH Lifeguards are required to have current certifications from the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid.
The Marketing Assistant will help disseminate information about programs, services, and resources to students, faculty, and staff through webpage design, social media, and other advertising strategies. The Marketing Assistant will be familiar with the Tiernan Field House mission and goals, and its partnership with consortium.
The scheduler will develop and communicate the schedule for Customer Service Associates.
